Out Of The Box Thinking...

First of all Happy Diwali to all of you. Excellent day today so far, nice weather, less traffic on road as many of you would have gone to your native and no office :).. Had called family and friends to wish happy Diwali.. and now finding nothing to do better so scribing something.. Hope you guys will find this interesting..


My colleagues are very interesting, most of the time talking issues about national, international and local.. and discussing possible solution.. although, nothing will change and no one care our debate but it keeps me updated.. Sometime they even throw puzzling questions which make me think..

Listing such few questions which made me think out of the box :). Apologies if you would have already read this..

1. This is my question,I have asked this to my colleagues. Guess what answer was instantaneous.. not sure they already knew or we are genius. 

A father and Son were going in a car and they meet with an accident. Father dies on the spot and Son got admitted to the hospital. But Doctor says, "I cant operate on him, because he is my son".
Comment on this situation.....


2. This question is asked by my colleague, which he claims an I A S interview question.
If Muzafer is Farhan's father.. then Muzafer is the ____ of  Farhan's father..

3. How do you drop a raw egg on a concrete floor without cracking it..?

4. This is a question about an interesting situation, let me see what you think if you are in that situation..
A stormy dark night, you are driving a car heading back to City.. On the way you are passing a bus stop where you find three people standing and waiting for the bus.. 
             1. Old lady in very bad situation. If not admitted to hospital immediately, she will surely die.
             2. An old friend, who once saved your life.
             3. A beautiful girl, with whom you dream to marry with.
Now you are in dilemma, you know that you can accommodate only one person in your car. Now what to do you in this situation ?

5. This is a simple puzzle, which I am sure you will find the solution within 3 minutes..
I have a jar of 5 liters and 3 liters, there is a water tank and I have to pick up exactly four liters of water. There is no volume mark on these jars.. Think how can you take exactly four liters..

Number discovery

The numbers what we use today 0 to 9, we think are english numbers. But actually these numbers are discovered here in India and then taken to Arab by arabs.. These numbers then called Hindu-Arabic numerals.. Ironically we Hindustanis ourself say these as english numbers :(

What it means by travelling ahead of time, going in future or past ??

There is always a big misconception of Einstein's relativity theory. People think there can be a machine which can take us in the past or future.

Here I am trying to clear these misconceptions a bit.

As we all know, light has a speed. Light rays travels 3Lakhs KM/second. So from earth if we observe the universe, we are not watching the universe which is in current state. Whatever events happening in the universe happened long back but we are seeing now because light rays took time to reach earth from the point of happening.

Now imagine we have another small earth which is ahead a light year from earth and we have a phone connection from there to here.

Now the the event what I am observing here today is seen there one year before. So if some one from that place call me and tell about an even which I am going to see after a year then I could think they are in future. But in reality they are relatively ahead of me from the event point.

So an incident happened is happened, we can not change in any case. It is just that when we can see the event happening varies from place to place depending on your relative position.

Same applies to going in past. Now think another planet which is a light year behind our earth. Lets assume they have a camera which can focus any point on earth.

Now lets think a murder committed in new york city and we don't have much clue about the murder. Lets think we need to go in past and focus our satellite to murder point and observe what is happening. This is not possible from earth. But light rays emitting from murder point started traveling in universe. We can call a planet which is a light year behind and focus their camera at murder point. As another planet is exactly 1 light year behind earth, their camera can see the murder event happening after exactly one year from earth. This is nothing but going in past.

To conclude this article, it is only relative position that decides when you can an event happening. There is nothing like going in past or future and you change the course of event unlike we see in sci-fie movies :-).

Proving infinity - x = infinity

Simple. Imagine a circle of radius x. A circle is nothing but an infinite number of lines drawn from center to circumference. Now imagine another circle within the above circle of radius x-y. Now this also contains infinite number of lines from center to it's circumference but less than above circle. So( infinite lines of first circle)-y=infinite number of lines of inner circle.

A trip to Singapore n Malaysia

That was friday evening, we were so much excited for this moment. Finally this moment was arrived. We, me n my wife were going on second honeymoon to Singapore n Malaysia.

As usual as gals are more excited going abroad, my wife too was very much excited. I was in mixed mode, little excited and little nervous ness about everything going smooth.

But finally Cab arrived to take us to Airport at exact 5 pm. We planned to leave to airport at 5 PM, because we stay in Marathalli from where airport is about 80KMs away.

My Dad, Mom n Abhi (brother in law) waved off from home, as they thought better not to come to airport as anyway they cant go inside. This was experienced two years back when I was going to America, they could not come inside Airport. I too was happy with this decision as it saved me Rs. 500 ;-).

It was 26th of August a good sunny day and little less traffic on Road as usually traffic starts from 6pm onwards on outer ring road. We started exactly 5 PM. To our astonishment driver stoped cab after KR puram bridge. I was surprised, and got down as driver was checking something on engine box. This is the last thing I was expecting to happen. No one ever want to start a Honeymoon like this. Driver finally confirmed  it was a break down, so cab cant move. I was irritated and called to travel agent immedietely, to our fortunate he sent another cab and I was little releived.

We arrived to Airport at about 7.15 PM. Flight was at 9PM. Everything went smooth in airport, checked in our baggages, security check completed and finally went near to Departure gate and settled.

Singapore

Reached Singapore, about 6 Am singapore time. Our travel agent was waiting there and took us to hotel. The weather was little cloudy and it was raining heavely but inspite that it was hot humid. Singapore is surrounded by sea, so weather was expected to be humid.

Planned Singapore Night safari that day, it was intersing to see Chinkies with theigh half pants. Gals were especially cute and lean. The good thing about night safari was commentary. The workers were so much skilled, their talk was very much interesting and humoursous.

Next day we roamed around hotel for first half and second half we planned Sentosa iceland trip. We saw the tourist guide Sentosa twillight package was interesting. It covered many things including Cable car and Underwater sight seeing rides.

Our travel guide Albert, gathered all tourists and started tour from Luxury travel Orchard street. Here we find Singapore citizens are more proud of their country. Albert started tour by greeting and explaining little history about Singapore. His speach and style was interesting. We got to know, Singapore is a multi cultured country, where 70% are chinese, 7% are Indians, 20% Koreans and others 3%.

We arrived to cable car station at about 2.30PM. I was getting on to cable car for the first time. It was a very good ride to Sentosa iceland. The view is so good, we can see Sea, ships and almost singapore from cable cars.

In sentosa, we first went to Under water sea world. I saw few pictures before and I was under impression, this is built completely under sea. But when we entered, I was little disappointed to see just few little big aquiriums. But as we descended little down, that was very much exciting. there was tunnel under sea which was roofed with glass. I was happy to see this all big fishes, sharks over my head.

We headed to Dolhin show, whether was very much humid. Singapore weather is very much un certain. Last day it rained heavely and today so sunny and hot.
Show was very much interesting. Coel carrying bags catching ball, Dolphin flying, jumping and immitating trainer etc.

From here we headed to Butterfly n Insect park. The park was cool and good to see lot of birds, different varieties of Butterfly and insects.

Then we headed to the much awaited 4D show. it was Pirates of carrebien clip. My wife had question to me, what is 4D ? The world is only three dimension, what is this another dimension ?  The explaination was simple. Another dimension is feeling. Feel the same as happening in the movie. They sprinkle water, if it rains. They shake ur chair if there is earth quick and blow air if there is high wind.

The 4D show was interesting. I thought of stealing 4D glasses but my wife restrained LOL ;-).

From here we headed to Singapore history museam. Where we got explaination from Kings's themselves. The curators are so intelligent, they mimicked originators of singapore and created vedio to explain about Singapore history by them. Then there were wax statues about everything from the day-1 when singapore came into existence.

Songs of the Sea, I was only expecting a laser show. We reached there and took our seat. The show started with some comedy and most amazing part images on fountains. Here they used water fountains as screens where they displayed vedios. It carried a short story about effect of song.

Next day we headed to Kaula lumpur in a luxury coach. The interesting part was we were only two in the whole coach. The road to KL is very beautilful. Completed our immigration formalities at Malaysia port of entry.
